Laid off!

Today I was laid off, thankfully it wasn't surprise, as I have known for the last month or so that this day would come.  It has been rather uneventfully, as the company I have put so much blood, sweat, and at times, tears of frustration into collapses back into the ether.  I spent the day in Austin, TX, 100 miles from my home, so that I could attend another lifetime event, the retirement of a good friend. All in all I am relieved as now I can move forward.

Thanks to those who meant much to me at Lat TV, Wes Burd, Blane Huhn, Jay Ross, Patricia Torres-Burd, to name just few, we had a good run.
